Animals and children have a knack for reminding us of the simple pleasures in life. Too often we forget to step back and appreciate the beauty of a sunset, a soaring bird – or the first snow flurries of winter.
Bella, a rescue horse from South Florida recently moved to her owner’s home state of Michigan. She may have grown up in the Sunshine State, but it turns out Bella was born to be a snowbunny!
Just look at her pure joy as she frolicks and rolls like a puppy in the fresh powder!
Stacey Pierce Dadd adopted Bella while volunteering at Hope Equine Rescue in Auburndale, Florida. Bella had been waiting over a year for a home when Dadd began volunteering at the rescue. After two years of getting to know one another, Dadd claimed Bella as her own!
She captured this heartwarming clip of Bella enjoying her first snow and shared it via Facebook with the caption,
“Bella’s been dreaming of a white winter and she finally got one this week.”
