Lunging a horse is a pretty standard aspect of training. The horse responds to the handler’s positioning in reference to his body – in essence, you can use your body position to drive the horse forward and to control his speed. Lunging can be a form of exercise, but it’s also a useful tool to help your horse learn how to balance himself and control his body.
But the horse in this video has a very different sort of handler. In fact, the handler has two wings and feathers. The horse sure doesn’t know what to think of the rooster at first, but he very quickly picks up on the rooster’s advances and gets the hang of lunging. In fact, the rooster ends up lunging the horse quite well.
How funny is that?! Think this rooster has a future as a horse trainer?
