4. Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is a growing practice when it comes to equine health. Aromatherapy, the use of essential oils and herbs for healing, can be used to help a horse recover from an injury or condition, or to simply keep a healthy horse healthy. There are tons of essential oils and herbs that may be useful in equine aromatherapy, and they serve a wide variety of purposes, from calming a horse to helping to relieve sore muscles. When using aromatherapy, it’s very important to make sure that you don’t introduce herbs or essential oils that are toxic to your horse, so leave aromatherapy treatments to a professional.
