Far View Horse Rescue sits on 40 beautiful acres in Fairplay, Colorado. The non-profit organization rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes abused, neglected, abandoned and unwanted horses.
Those unable to be adopted spend the rest of their lives in comfort under the loving care of the ranch's many directors and volunteers of all ages.

Caring for so many animals can be quite stressful when you are dependent upon donations and grants. With a particularly harsh winter approaching Colorado, the kind people at Far View Horse Rescue had already exhausted their feed budget.
On Saturday, November 5, they received an incredible surprise that instantly warmed their hearts and alleviated their worries. As more than 40 Far View volunteers looked on in awe, the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales trotted toward them to present a gift from Purina of two tons of horse grain!
Grab the tissues, this is moving stuff!
Far View Horse Rescue was selected from over 600 Horse Rescues to receive this incredible gift, presented by representatives for Purina and A Home For Every Horse.
